Christmas Holiday Cards, Invitations, Shirts, And Gifts

It's getting to be that time of year again! I just love the Christmas Holiday season. For me it's a time to remember all the people who are important to me and perhaps sometimes get lost during the year in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It makes me take time to appreciate and share.

I have created several designs just for this festive season. You can change any of the greetings and messages I have placed on the items to fit your particular expression for the season. My designs are available on cards and invitations, photo cards, shirts, mugs, tote bags, magnets, stickers, gift tags, Avery binder notebooks, postage stamps, and more.

If you need help personalizing an item, or have a request or question, please contact me and I will be more than happy to help you create that special card, invitation, or gift.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them! Here's a preview of what is available in my shop at SmilinEyesTreasuresPhotography.com.

Car Art Flower And Nature Bumper Stickers

I just discovered another delightful and inexpensive way to share my flower and nature photography - Car Art - flower and nature bumper stickers. I haven't made many bumper stickers because I'm not that creative with coming up with something to say. But then I thought, why not just the pictures and no words - just art. Just have something pretty for people to stare at during those long waits at traffic lights. Might just make someone smile and take them out of their hectic state of mind. I also do have some made with words and sayings. Please do check them out at my gallery SmilinEyesTreasuresPhotography.com at Zazzle.

Here's a few I already have available. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.

I Rescued A Bird Today

Today's entry has nothing to do with me trying to sell my work. I had an experience this morning while walking my dog that filled me with such joy that I was there to make a difference. If nothing else happens today, I now at least feel I contributed something to the world and life for the day, and I feel the need to share it.

Shane and I were walking by our usual pond at the gravel pit. I heard fluttering in the water near the shore in the reeds. Sure enough, a starling was entangled in fishing line someone had thoughtlessly left behind and would surely drown. Luckily there was a tree nearby, so I tied Shane up so he wouldn't add to the poor bird's anxiety. I quietly talked to the bird, as I could see the fear in his eyes. I gently scooped him out of the water and held him in my hands. He seemed to immediately sense that I was there to help him and quietly stayed in my hands while I worked to untangle the line. As soon as I was finished though and released my grasp, he was more than happy to fly off - very wet, but otherwise fine. The other amazing thing to me was that Shane, who thinks the world centers around him, just quietly sat tied by the tree and watched me. Normally, he would be pulling an extreme hissy fit because he couldn't be right there with me.

I get so angry that so many people who fish, leave their trash and the worst thing, their fishing line behind to become slow death traps to many creatures. If they enjoy being out in nature, I wish they would have the decency to respect what they are enjoying, and leave the place clean and safe for everyone who lives there. Anyone who reads this, if you know people who fish, please urge them to make sure they do not leave behind their fishing line, hooks, and other trash that does endanger the wildlife living there. Because I do nature and wildlife photography, I am out and about and see so much human thoughtlessness and carelessness about the environment and total lack of respect for that which they are enjoying, it often makes me cry.

Sepia Flower Photos, Cards, And Gifts

I so love the look of aged sepia! It gives me such a warm and nostalgic feeling. I have started making my original color flower and nature photographs available in sepia. As time permits, I will be adding more and more. If you see an image that I have not yet made into sepia, please do contact me and I will be happy to create it for you. For those of you who love black and white, I can also produce all of my images in that medium.

At SmilinEyesTreasuresPhotography.com at Zazzle, you can purchase these images on business cards, wedding and bridal shower invitations, save the date postcards, postage stamps, tote bags, mugs, party invitations, magnets, and more. You can personalize most of my items with any text you like. And I am always glad to help you create that special invitation or gift.

Here's a sample of what's available. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them!
